What Carriers do you use?

We use the three major carriers(UPS, FedEx and USPS). Depending where you live some options may not be available.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Our shipping charges are based on actual part weights as well as the part dimensional weight. What this means is if the part weighs 2 lbs. we charge you only for 2 lbs. In some cases a part may be bulky as in outer window scrapers, these may only weigh 2-3 lbs. but the carrier charges for this item by its dimensions or "dimensional weight" (Example an outer window scraper that measures 34" x 16" x 2" has a physical weight of 3 lbs. but because of its physical size it would now weigh 7 lbs. dimensional weight). How we handle free shipping. Certain parts that are over weight or oversized cannot be included in free shipping orders and will be charged a surcharge based on the dimensional weight. Free shipping rates are for the 48 continental United States. Areas outside the 48 states, shipping will be calculated using the best shipping price available. We reserve the right to use any shipping carrier unless the order has had a upgrade. If any sales or price matching discount drops you below the free shipping amount, shipping will be charged.

Import Duties, Taxes on International Shipments

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country; we have no control over such charges and cannot determine what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information regarding any taxes or duties for which you would be liable.

How long does it take to ship an order?

We try to ship most orders within 24-72 hours during normal business hours (Monday - Friday) however this depends on the order volume for that day. Orders with expedited shipping options placed during normal business hours (Monday - Friday) excluding holidays usually ship within 24 hours. Please allow an additional 48 hours for orders placed on weekends or holidays. When counting the number of days we do not include the day the order was placed.

Do you offer overnight delivery?

Sorry, we do not offer overnight shipping currently.


What is your return policy?

If you have a return, contact us immediately or at your earliest convenience to state your reason for the return. You will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization number that will be used to track your return.

Items must be returned within 30 days in like new condition with original packaging. To return an item, visit the returns link at the bottom of the page and fill in the form to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number and instructions. Your RMA is only valid for 30 days from the issue date. Write this number on the outside of the package. Products returned without authorization will not be accepted. Freight must be prepaid! (any C.O.D. will be refused). Enclose a copy of your original invoice along with your securely packaged item. Return items must arrive in the same condition as they were when they were originally shipped. Credit replacement will not be given for items damaged through IMPROPER usage, installation, modification, tampering or disassembly. There is a 10% restocking charge on all MIS-ORDERED items. No restocking charge will be levied if we determine that S&S Aircooled Parts and Accessories is at fault. The cost of the returned items, minus shipping charges, will be promptly credited via the payment method used.

Items that cannot be returned

Electrical Parts of any kind. Parts that have been installed. Special Order/Custom items cannot be returned. These items are made/ordered for your specific vehicle. Special Order/Custom items include, but are not limited to: Seat Upholstery, Carpet, Door Panels, and Headliners. Please verify that the information provided for a custom item is correct before placing your order. Special Order/Custom items are generally not available on our website. We can only accept returns on custom items in the event of a manufacturer error.

What if a part isn't what I expected it to be?

S&S Aircooled Parts and Accessories will accept back merchandise that hasn't met your expectations. You can request a Return Merchandise Authorization number and return the item\s at your own cost. Item\s that are being returned must be unused, in their original packaging and unmodified or unchanged in any form. Once we have received and inspected the item\s we will issue a refund for the original purchase price of the item\s only. The shipping charges will not be refunded for the item\s purchased. THESE NON-DEFECTIVE RETURNS MAY BE SUBJECT TO A 10% RE-STOCKING FEE.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. Please visit the returns link at the bottom of the page and let us know that you will be returning an item and what item you would like instead. We will assign a Return Merchandise Authorization number, which must be written on the outside of the package. Upon our receipt of the returned item, we will ship out the new item. You will be credited or charged the price difference, less shipping, to the original form of payment.

What if items are damaged or missing from my order?

OPEN YOUR SHIPMENT AND INSPECT ALL PARTS IMMEDIATELY! Open all internal boxes, as some items may be packed with other parts. Make sure each part you ordered is included and undamaged. Take care not to throw away any parts with the packing materials. If you are missing any items and they are not "Back Ordered", please contact S&S Aircooled Parts and Accessories immediately! If any part is damaged, Please contact S&S Aircooled Parts and Accessories for us to gather all information needed to file a claim with the shipping carrier. Keep all original containers, shipping materials, and contents for inspection by the shipping carrier. S&S Aircooled Parts and Accessories is not responsible for shipping damage after the freight company accepts a shipment from us. 

The above procedures must be followed within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
