These high-strength, stock-style connecting rod bolts are precision-engineered for standard Volkswagen air-cooled and water-cooled engines. they provide the essential clamping force needed to secure the rod caps during high-RPM operation. Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, these bolts are critical for any bottom-end rebuild where the original hardware has been stretched or fatigued.

Installation Note: This is not a torque-to-yield connecting rod bolt. WIL NOT fit 1200cc connecting rods or engines that use a torque-to-yield connecting rod bolt.
