EMPI has partnered with CSF Radiators to release the Super Kooler, a high-performance oil cooler designed for Type 1, Type 2, Porsche 356 and 912 air-cooled engines. Extensive testing revealed significant performance improvements when compared to the OE unit. The state-of-the-art core design allows for improved flow and oil cooling efficiency. The Super Kooler is finished with a Cerakote high-performance ceramic-based coating the provides an extremely thin, lightweight layer that protects against extreme heat. This product can be used on early cars but will require the use of a non-doghouse style fan shroud.
