One of the best upgrades you can do for your Bug or Ghia is to convert the old drum brakes to disc brakes. Converting your vehicle from drum to disc is made simple with this true bolt-on kit. Featuring Forged Drop Spindles that lower your car 2.5in and don't require the use of cast or stamped brackets. This kit offers the low "Cal-Look" style and reliable stopping power for your Air-Cooled VW. This rotor comes with a 4x130 lug pattern with M14-1.5 threaded holes.

Application Note: This is considered a universal part and can fit many different applications based on modifications to the vehicle. Application information is just for reference and not applicable to a stock vehicle configuration. Please verify your application before purchase to ensure this part is correct for your project. Requires 15″ wheels or larger. This kit will not work with 14″ wheels. VW Bug/Ghia 66-68.5 used a 27mm Inner Wheel Bearing for "early" ball joint, while a VW Bug/Ghia 68.5-77 used a 29mm Inner Wheel Bearing for "late" ball joint.
Installation Note: WARNING! It is extremely important that brake lines be installed by a trained mechanic. Proper length of each line in relation to wheel travel and steering angle is critical to avoid brake failure. Equally important is brake lines must be free flowing and have no contamination. Additionally, all calipers must be bled properly, regardless of kit purchased. Do not attempt brake line or caliper installation without the experience to properly evaluate all of these issues. ROTORS ARE DIRECTIONAL! For VW Bug/Ghia 66-68.5, the use of 68.5 and Later 12mm Tie Rod Ends are required for Installation.
